A Very Jazzy Christmas

I'm listening to Harry Connick Jr., Michael Buble', Dean Martin, and Leon Redbone croon to me that they will be so blue just thinking about me whilst I put the finishing touches on Christmas gifts I'm ordering. Also feeling very good about the amount of shopping I've done so early this year. Believe me, this is early for me. Even though some of you shop before Thanksgiving or, like my dear mom, before even July you start to hide things away. I do not. I prefer the slightly rushed time of year. It adds to the whole "holiday spirit" for me.
Anyway, I have decided to make myself a quilt, I might have made one for a Christmas gift but for two reasons. One being it's too late. Also I have never made a quilt and I don't really want my first failure--I mean try--to be something someone has to live with for a little while till it falls apart, or even worse, have it be a very sturdy blanket with ugly or uncoordinated colors.
With that said, I will soon post pictures of the fabric I have, and you all can be witnesses to the process.

Christmas Music!

Yes! Yes I have been. Listening to Christmas music "early" that is. I type it like that because I don't feel like it's early at all. I think it's just in time.
Well, I don't think it's too early when it is my choice, however, I don't think radio stations  should be playing it this early! Anyway, I am super excited to start getting the decorations out and start all the baking etc...

Oh! I also want to share my favorite version of Angels We Have Heard on High (by Josh Groban and Brian McKnight)   Click here for the tune!

Honestly one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard :) so please enjoy!

I'm feeling like me again!

For nearly two weeks now I've been feeling under the weather, but I'm beginning to feel better now and so I wanted to say a cheery "Hello!"
Funny Face with Fred Astaire and Miss Hepburn
So.... Hello! Anyway, for the first part of last week I was in my warm bed playing a video game, sleeping, watching an old movie, or sleeping. The movies I watched include....

Ever After with Drew Barrymore and Angelica Houston (who doesn't play the prince)

Anyway, I'm going to go bake cookies and browse Modcloth.com (I love window shopping online when I won't be tempted to do more...)
